CBMC & Links Fellowship Fall Classic

Who benefits from this event? The answer is... You. We simply are providing a fun, engaging, and enriching event because we know that great things can happen through fellowship.

The Purpose: This event is designed to bring people together. Those who have a relationship with Jesus and those who may still be searching for answers are welcome to participate. This event is sure to provide a great day for finding common ground with those who enjoy the game of golf, and desire to go further through fellowship and the study of God’s word.

The Vision: Our desire is to go beyond this single event and to develop an on-going ministry at local golf courses. Meeting together, enjoying the game, and honoring Jesus through investing our time in each other.

Meet Our Speakers: 

Timothy Philpot is an American lawyer, author and judge. He has served as a family court judge in Fayette County, Kentucky since 2004, and his present term expires in January 2023. He previously served as a Republican member of the Kentucky Senate from 1993-2003. Philpot is also an author, his most recent book being a well received semi-autobiographical novel drawing on cases he has heard and his experiences as a judge.

Wally Armstrong has played professionally and taught golf since 1968. He is a lifetime member of the PGA Tour and Champions Tour. He is recognized by his peers as one of the most creative teachers of the game. He has participated in over 500 teaching and speaking events. Wally has co-authored several books about golf and life. His most recent book, written with best-selling author, Ken Blanchard, is entitled, The Mulligan. Currently, Wally, along with a filming company, completed a movie entitled “The Mulligan”, with the release date being 2022.
