District Attorney Tim Barker has dedicated over 25 years to protecting York County and advocating for victims. A nationally recognized prosecutor, he previously served as First Assistant District Attorney and has litigated many of the county’s most complex cases, with a strong focus on protecting the vulnerable.

Beyond his courtroom success, DA Barker is a passionate advocate for community well-being and rehabilitation. He actively partners with local leaders and faith-based organizations to reduce crime and champion the concept of redemption within the justice system. He earned his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh and is a lifelong Eagle Scout. He resides in Springettsbury Township with Missy, his wife of over 25 years.
