About the Event
Who benefits from this event? The answer is... You. We simply are providing a fun, engaging, and enriching event because we know that great things can happen through fellowship.
The Purpose: This event is designed to bring people together. Those who have a relationship with Jesus and those who may still be searching for answers are welcome to participate. This event is sure to provide a great day for finding common ground with those who enjoy the game of golf, and desire to go further through fellowship and the study of God’s word.
The Vision: Our desire is to go beyond this single event and to develop an on-going ministry at local golf courses. Meeting together, enjoying the game, and honoring Jesus through investing our time in each other.
Meet our featured speaker: Bill Alexson is the Founder and President of SportsPower International, a non-profit organization that utilizes the powerful platform of NBA players and other professional athletes to influence youth in a positive way. Bill played pro basketball in Greece for two years. He is the Founder of the Players’ Chapel program to the NBA and was Chaplain to the Boston Celtics players for over 20 years.
