Who benefits from this event? The answer is... You. We simply are providing a fun, engaging, and enriching event because we know that great things can happen through fellowship.

The Purpose: This event is designed to bring people together. Those who have a relationship with Jesus and those who may still be searching for answers are welcome to participate. This event is sure to provide a great day for finding common ground with those who enjoy the game of golf, and desire to go further through fellowship and the study of God’s word.

The Vision: Our desire is to go beyond this single event and to develop an on-going ministry at local golf courses. Meeting together, enjoying the game, and honoring Jesus through investing our time in each other.

Meet Our Speakers: 

Jose Alvarez is a retired Major League Baseball pitcher. He played four seasons at the major league level, pitching for the Atlanta Braves. He played for the Braves in 1981 and 1982, then spent five seasons in the minor leagues before returning to the Braves in 1988 and 1989. 

Jose is the Upstate South Carolina Director for Links Players Int’l., and is also a contributing writer of the Links Players Daily Devotions. 

Jose and his wife Michelle speak at FamilyLife marriage conferences around the country called "Weekend To Remember". He is the father of three grown children, and he and his wife are grandparents to four.
