About the Event

Hon. N. Christopher Menges is a judge for the York County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. He was elected to the bench in November 2015. 

Menges received a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College in 1973. He went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1976.

Prior to his election, he was a partner at Trinity Law, A Menges & McLaughlin Firm, gaining expertise in family law. His legal career also included working as an assistant district attorney with the York County District Attorney's Office, a borough solicitor, and a divorce master. In addition, Menges was elected West Manchester Township Supervisor from 1986 to 1992.

He has taught paralegal courses at York College and Penn State York and was an instructor at Lancaster Bible College, where he also served on the Corporate Board.

His civic involvement included Bell Socialization Service, York Rescue Mission, York Rotary, Keystone Trail Club, and Human Life Services. 

At the time of his election, Menges resided with his family in Warrington Township, where he operates a 14-acre family farm.
